Founded in 2016, Le Duo Morgen is the result of a friendship and collaboration between pianist Vincent Mussat and cellist Jérémy Garbarg.
They approach the German romantic repertoire (Brahms, Schumann, Schubert, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, …) inspired by the correspondence of Clara and Robert Schumann, Goethe, and painters like Caspar David Friedrich from whom their names are inspired.
They are guided in their work by Jérôme Pernoo, Itamar Golan, David Kadouch, Denis Pascal, Geneviève Laurenceau, Christian-Pierre Lamarca, or Philippe Jaroussky and perform regularly in concert.
Awarded at the FNAPEC Competition, they appear on the radio France Musique in Gaelle Le Gallic’s show “Generation Young Performers”, and Dakapp and Medici.tv as part of the Musical Academy Philippe Jaroussky.
